Jakarta –
A motorbike driver sport with the initials MA (19) died after falling on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, to be precise in front of DKI Jakarta City Hall. Police said the victim had touched with a bajaj.
The accident was known to have occurred around 09.40 WIB Sunday (27/3/2022). When he fell, the victim was reported to be in critical condition.
“(At) 09.40 WIB, the B 6747 WZA motorcycle accident on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan (in front of DKI Jakarta City Hall), the victim’s condition was critical and was given medical treatment @agddinkesdkiJKT,” tweeted @TMCPoldaMetro.
Victim Dies at the Crime Scene
The Head of Traffic and Traffic of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sutiyono, said the victim died at the scene.
“He died on the spot,” said Sutiyono when confirmed, Sunday (27/3).
Sutiyono said the motorcyclist had received help from medical officers at the Jakarta City Hall. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist’s life was not saved.
Had Hit Bajaj
Sutiyono said that before falling, MA was said to have hit the bajaj. He said that at that time the victim was driving from the east on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.
“(On) Jalan Merdeka Selatan, Indosat, heading east across from City Hall, bumps into a bajaj,” said Sutiyono.
