This Wednesday morning around 1:55 a.m., the Brussels firefighters were called to intervene on the Jette side, at the avenue de l’exposition, to extricate a driver stuck in her vehicle, said the spokesperson for the Brussels firefighters. Only one vehicle was involved in the accident. It had hit a tree.
The car had to be deflagged to get the victim out of the vehicle in good conditions. During the whole process, the driver was conscious. She was evacuated to the hospital “in a worrying state” under escort of the SMUR of the UZ VUB, continues the spokesperson for the Brussels fire brigade.
The circumstances of the driving are the subject of the usual observations by the police of the Brussels-West zone.
