On the eleventh match day of the Motoball Bundesliga, the spectators again counted many goals in the exciting games in the north and south. Halle prevailed against Jarmen in the northern relay on Saturday. Malsch fought back with a lot of courage in the defeat against Kuppenheim, Budel celebrated a smashing victory against Philippsburg and the MSC Taifun Mörsch didn’t give the MSC Ubstadt-Weiher a chance. On Sunday Pattensen in Malchin and Seelze in their own stadium clearly prevailed against Kierspe.

1. MBC 70/90 Halle was able to score an important 3-0 win against MSC Jarmen on Saturday afternoon. Against the direct competitor in the race for second place in the northern relay, the Saalestadt team showed a sovereign and strong performance and could have won more if they had better exploited their chances. “We dominated the game for almost the entire season and could certainly have scored a few more goals,” said Halle chairman Torsten Wochatz after the game. In front of 260 spectators, Benjamin Walther gave the home side a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute. The second quarter remained goalless, so that at half-time Halle held a narrow 1-0 lead. In the 51st minute, Marc Wochatz then increased to 2:0 and finally put the 1st MBC on the road to victory. Wochatz then also set the final point, making it 3-0 in the 72nd minute. Thanks to the success, Halle secured second place in the northern relay.

With a great fighting performance and a lot of passion, MSC Malsch was able to beat MSC Puma Kuppenheim late on Saturday afternoon. Although they had to take the expected defeat, the 2:9 against the big favorites and leaders of the southern season was worth all honor in the end. Especially in the last quarter, the Malschers showed great fighting spirit and were even able to win this round 2:1. “It was a great performance from our boys. The mood after the game is correspondingly good with us,” said Malsch’s chairman Manuela Stiefel after the game. The approximately 110 spectators saw a good and, above all, fair game at high temperatures. Jannis Schmitt scored five goals for the guests. Max Schmitt and Robin Faisz each scored two goals to make it 9-2. Alexander Kleinbichler and Andre Nöckel were successful for Malsch.

The game between MBV Budel and MSC Philippsburg early on Saturday evening was a clear affair. While the youth of MSC Philippsburg was able to win a 2-1 win in the Netherlands, the Baden team was clearly beaten 11-0 by MBV Budel. Budel was the game-determining team throughout the season and deservedly won in the end. For the Dutch, Carlo van Geldrop (2), Nick Evers (1), Stan Looijmans (3), Sven Neijsen (3) and Miel Looijmans (2) were successful. Despite the clear victory, Miel Looijmans wasn’t entirely happy with the game and the result: “We were strong and had a lot of ball possession. We played well, but were too sloppy with our chance evaluation. There was more possible.” Philippsburg’s Nuri Arslan clearly had to concede that he was inferior after the game: “Budel had us under control throughout. We hardly had a chance. They defended well and used their chances well. Our two goalkeepers were also able to prevent worse things from happening, otherwise it would have been much higher.”

MSC Taifun Mörsch put in a commanding performance on Saturday evening in a commanding 10:5 away win at MSC Ubstadt-Weiher. After the first quarter, the record champions were leading 4:1 in front of the 400 or so spectators in the Motoball Arena. Jan Zoll (2nd) and Luca Böser (4th) gave the guests a 2-0 lead early on. Kevin Fröhlich was able to shorten the lead in the 7th minute, but Böser (15th) and Zoll (16th) brought Mörsch further forward. In the second quarter, the home side were able to make the game a little more balanced. Kevin Gerber brought his colors a little closer in the 29th minute. But the MSC Taifun was too strong for the reigning German champion that day. After half time the typhoon turned up. Justin Tichatschek (42nd), Böser (46th, 51st) and Zoll (55th) increased to 8:2 for the guests. Gerber was then able to make it 3:8 in the 56th minute. In the last quarter, the home side tried to get close again. Gerber reduced the lead to 4:8 in the 61st minute. Three minutes later, after green cards to Fröhlich and Marco Weis from MSC Ubstadt-Weiher and Tichatschek and Marco Batrenik from MSC Taifun Mörsch, only two field players were on the field. But there were still goals. Böser made it 4:9 in the 68th minute and Fröhlich was able to shorten it again to 5:9 in the 76th minute. Böser scored the final point in the deserved victory in the 77th minute with the goal to make it 10:5. “It was a deserved success for the Typhoon. Mörsch was simply more agile and faster than us,” Ubstadt-Weiher’s chairman Sabine Staudt had to admit after the game. At the MSC Taifun, on the other hand, the joy was great. “We got this win as a team, we played as a unit both defensively and offensively,” said Justin Tichatschek. In the youth game, on the other hand, the MSC Ubstadt-Weiher was happy. After an exciting game, the offspring of the Spargelstadt team won 5:4 against Taifun Mörsch.

1. MSC Seelze had no problems against MBC Kierspe on Sunday afternoon. The sovereign table leader of the northern season clearly prevailed 10:2 against the guests from the Sauerland. The home side were already leading 6-2 at half-time. Tobias Hahnenberg, Vygandas Zilius, Nandino Costa and Dovydas Zilius (3) scored the goals for Seelze. Mario Zimmermann, Dovydas Zilius and Hahnenberg (2) then scored the other goals for 1. MSC Seelze in the remaining two quarters.

MSC Pattensen also mastered his task at MSC Kobra Malchin with confidence. The Lower Saxony won the game 13:1 in front of 200 spectators. Yannik Schaper gave the guests the lead after a minute. In return, the Kobras were able to equalize to 1:1 through Kevin Ewald. The guests pulled away to 4:1 with goals from Jan Berner (7th) and Schaper (13th, 19th). In the second period, Pattensen increased the lead to 7:1 with goals from Max Eder (26′), Berner (34′) and Schaper (38′). After half-time, the Lower Saxony continued to press the button. Berner (41st, 49th, 59th) and Tobias Schulz (52nd) extended the lead to 11:1. In the fourth period it was Schaper (68th) and Jan Bauer (79th) who extended the result to 13:1. “It was clear and we lived up to our role as favourites,” said Pattensen sports director Andreas Preusse after the game.
