Unknown criminals are apparently currently up to mischief in the state of Carinthia and are breaking into houses, apartments and vehicles.
Previously unknown perpetrators broke into their house in the municipality of Paternion (Villach district) on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:35 p.m. in the homeowners’ absence.
Jewelry and money gone
The criminals smashed a window pane with a stone and thus got into the house. They searched the premises and stole several thousand euros in cash and jewelry.
Car break-in
On Thursday between 11 p.m. and midnight, previously unknown perpetrators stole a cash box and a wallet from an unlocked car parked on Porschestrasse in Klagenfurt.
The damage to the disadvantage of a 22-year-old from Klagenfurt amounts to several thousand euros.
