Soap Opera Actress Iran Castillo Leaves Acting to Become Children’s Music Singer

Every day, the entertainment industry surprises with the decisions of celebrities, as some announce new projects that have nothing to do with the area in which they work.

In the case of actors, some decide to leave the world of acting, despite their talent, to dedicate themselves to selling something, starting a company or becoming a singer.

Such was the case of a famous soap opera actress who decided to move away from the cameras and the interpretation of characters to become a children’s music singer.

Who is it about?

Iran Castillo Pinzón, known for her outstanding participation in various productions such as: ‘Agujetas de color de rosa’, ‘Soñadoras’, ‘Preciosa’, ‘Secondary Confidence’, ‘Class 406’, ‘El tigre de Santa Julia’, ‘ Murderous Women’, ‘Until I Met You’ and ‘Lucía’s Secrets’.

Throughout her career, the actress has felt a constant attraction to music. In 1996, with the help of her mother, she recorded two songs, including ‘Tiempos Nuevos’. These songs were sent to Sony Music, which led to her signing to record her first solo album, titled ‘Tiempos Nuevos’.

At intervals, the singer returned to the musical sphere with children’s songs, expressing her happiness and excitement at achieving something she had always planned.

“I am very excited about this project, we have been doing it and programming it for a while now. It’s called ‘The Castle of Iran’ and it’s super healthy music for children,” she revealed during a meeting with the media.

As for the reason why she chose to focus on children’s themes, the actress shared that it was due to her great affection for children, stating that this taste has always been present in her life. “I had always wanted to do something with the children and it didn’t seem to flow, but now it has flowed like water,” she said.
