So today is “We wear skirts-day” at the school, literally translated: “We wear skirts-day” -day. The action already exists in other countries and has now reached us. It symbolizes a problem in society about sexism against women and girls. And about what should or what should fit according to certain stereotypes with the different sexes.
Why it is important to put a finger on the problem, Josefien explains: “We want to fight sexism with this action, but we also want to fight against ‘toxic masculinity'”. There is also a fight for the fact that boys and men can also show a sensitive side.
