Secret camera
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, after the woman’s family complained about the presence of bruises on her body, she hid a secret camera in her bedroom.
Sisters Danielle and Rebecca Hensley captured harsh footage of their grandmother, Beryl Wall, who suffered injuries to her body.
Ms Wall’s granddaughters placed a camera on a picture frame in her grandmother’s bedroom to try to find out what was happening to Ms Wall, who was unable to speak at the time.
Painful shots
In the harrowing footage, captured over four days, workers can be seen taunting the pensioner, pushing her, forcefully lifting her legs into the air and pinching her.
In another clip, a staff member can be seen forcefully grabbing Ms Wall and taunting her before hitting her on the head with a pillow.
Disgusting
The footage also shows staff calling Ms Wall “disgusting” and pinning her down as they try to clean and dress her.
While some other footage shows how Mrs. Walls’ legs were pulled or forcefully lifted into the air, despite her increasing screams.
Maltreatment
Carers Amy Tounkara, 33, Moronrante Advila, 43, Danny Ohene, 39, and Bridget Aydiyan, 49, were later charged with willful abuse and neglect. They were convicted and jailed for 18 months at Wolverhampton Crown Court at the end of last year.
