District of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald – Schluchsee: On Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, around 2:00 p.m. on the B500 in Schluchsee, there was a serious traffic accident between a mobile home and a motorcycle, occupied by two people. According to the current state of knowledge, the 88-year-old driver of the mobile home turned his mobile home illegally on the main road, which meant that the motorcyclist driving behind had to dodge and fell. Both bikers were seriously injured as a result of the accident and had to be taken to nearby hospitals. Due to the use of a rescue helicopter, the B500 was completely closed at the accident site for several hours.
Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the investigating police station in Titisee-Neustadt on 07651-93360.
