Schools – Osnabrück:83 percent of teachers vaccinated at least once

Osnabrück (dpa / lni) – Most of the teachers in Lower Saxony have already been vaccinated against Covid-19 at least once. The Ministry of Culture announced this to the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” (NOZ) on Sunday. Accordingly, about 83 percent of them are vaccinated at least once. At the elementary schools, the rate is even 100 percent. In the state-wide survey, 93 percent of all schools had so far participated.
“I am very happy that the offers are so widely accepted by the teachers,” said Minister of Culture Grant Hendrik Tonne (SPD) of the newspaper. This is an important cornerstone for more safety and as much classroom teaching as possible in the coming school year.
