One of them posted an account Instagram @jakartabarat24jam. Police in plain clothes were seen trying to take Saipul into the car. The incident happened around the Jelambar bus stop, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, today, at around 15.00 WIB.
“Artist Saipul Jamil was arrested in Jelambar just now at 15.00, suspected of being drugs, who caught intelligence about it,” as quoted, Friday, January 5 2024.

Regarding this, the police also spoke up. Tambora Police Chief, Police Commissioner Donny Agung said Saipul was not arrested. According to him, Saipul had to be taken into custody because at that time his party was arresting another person. Coincidentally, Saipul was also in the car he was traveling in.
