Despite an environment marked by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Saham Assurance Maroc, posted a good performance in its activities in the first half of the year.
For the first six months of the year, the subsidiary of the South African group Sanlam achieved an overall turnover of 3.2 billion dirhams (300 million euros), up 8.3%.
Over the same period, premiums written in life insurance amounted to 498 million dirhams, an increase of 17.7%. For its part, the turnover of the Non-Life branch amounted to 2.612 billion dirhams (250 million euros), up 6.7%.
