Shahbaz Sharif witnessed the launch of Pakistan’s first satellite iCube Qamar to the Moon live on Pakistan Television.
The Prime Minister expressed his happiness over the inclusion of Pakistan in the countries sending satellites to the moon and said that iCube Qamar satellite is Pakistan’s first step in space.
He said that like the nuclear field, our scientists, engineers and talented people are showing their skills in this field as well.
Shahbaz Sharif said that I deeply appreciate the core committee of the Institute of Space Technology, its member Dr. Khurram Khurshid, all the team including Sparco and especially the students who participated in the project.
The Prime Minister said that Pak-China friendship, which is higher than the Himalayas, deeper than the sea and sweeter than honey, has gone beyond the border of fragrances and today has crossed the border of space as well.
