Sad after the sexual act? Postcoital dysphoria is more common in men

PSometimes, after sex, there are those who do not feel well-being or satisfaction. On the contrary – the dysphoria postcoital is a problem similar to depression and that affect more men than women.

Saying this is the researchers at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia, who conducted a study about the subject. According to him, sadness after sex affect about 41% of the 1208 men interviewed.

This is a problem that can also lead to irritation, aggression and even crying.

According to the researchers, this phenomenon is more frequent and more complex in men, and further studies are needed to assess the causes and consequences of this emotional state.
