Last Saturday, while in his car in Ploiesti, Prahova County, Romania, Tavy Pustiu launched a Facebook live. We see the 29-year-old singer dancing to music while smoking a cigarette, while his wife is behind the wheel of the car, far from suspecting that he is filming his last moments.
In the video, the couple’s vehicle is seen to stop for a few moments. The artist’s wife then looks left and right before entering a level crossing, obviously not paying attention to the train running at high speed on the rails. The car continues on its way, Tavy Pustiu lets out a cry and a horrified look as he sees the train heading straight for him.
Hit hard, the singer died instantly. His 24-year-old wife, transferred to a Prahova County hospital, is believed to be in critical condition. Other images from the crash site show that the car’s roof was completely torn off.
“The accident happened due to non-compliance with the rules at the level crossing“, said a spokesman for the Romanian police.
