A young woman who was to compete on Friday for the title of Miss Guadeloupe 2020 gave up a few hours before the election, because of a naked photo shoot, carried out according to her for the prevention against breast cancer.
Anaëlle Guimbi was one of the six contenders for the Miss Guadeloupe 2020 scarf to succeed Clémence Botino. The day before the election, the 20-year-old from Sainte-Rose finally announced that she had to give up the competition. A choice of the Miss France delegation which discovered old photos on which she appears shirtless, her chest hidden by pink paint. Photos which “prove to be contrary to the values of Miss France” she regretted on social networks, explaining to have posed in this way against breast cancer. “The rules are what they are, I bow but I will always continue to defend the values that are dear to me such as this fight against breast cancer,” she added, revealing the photos that cost her the competition.

On Twitter, Anaëlle Guimbia let it be known that she did not want the Miss France committee, considering that she was “solely responsible for (s) his acts”. “Body painting is considered nude. These are the rules, I hadn’t paid attention to them, I just hope that the next candidates will be able to use my “mistake” not to reproduce it “. Regarding the photos taken for a good cause, she does not regret her choice. “With the little perspective that I have, if I had to do it again I would do exactly the same thing”. She ends with a little spade to those who leaked this photoshoot. “I hope the people who sent the photo to the committee will sleep well tonight.”
