Restrictions, perimeter closure and curfews of the Autonomous Communities, dates and times

The state of alarm, which from next Monday, November 9, will be extended until May 9, allows Autonomous communities impose mobility restriction measures, such as perimeter confinements o go night curfews.

The map is diverse and can be applied both throughout the community and within it, either by province, municipality or health zone. We review which regions have imposed perimeter and until when will they keep the closures, as well as the different schedules curfew in each region.


Of the confined territories, whether community, province, locality or zone, You can not enter or leave except for just cause, such as going to work, attending a medical appointment or teaching centers (schools, universities, institutes …), carrying out administrative procedures or exams or caring for dependents, among others.

Yes they can be crossed these territories with perimeter, as long as the origin and destination is different from that of a confined area, be it autonomy, province, locality or zone.



Perimeter fences, by community

Andalusia

Perimeter closure of the entire community until April 23rd.

Provinces: all, until April 23rd.

Municipalities: all those with a cumulative incidence of more than 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which are:

Almeria: Alboloduy, Alcolea, Fines, Santa Cruz de Marchena and Viator.

Cádiz: Alcalá del Valle, Benaocaz, El Bosque, El Gastor, Puerto Serrano and Ubrique.

Córdoba: Benamejí, Doña Mencía, Fuente Palmera, Montemayor, Montoro, Nueva Carteya, Villa del Río and Villafranca de Córdoba.

Cantabria

Perimeter closure of the entire community until April 16th.

Castile and Leon

Perimeter closure of the entire community until May 9.

Castilla la Mancha

The regional government will maintain the perimeter closure from April 10, as well as the night curfew, although it will be again from 00:00 to 6:00.

Catalonia

Perimeter closure of the entire community until April 18th.

Counties: You cannot travel between the different regions of the region, until April 18.

Ceuta

Perimeter closure of the entire autonomous city until April 11.

Madrid’s community

The perimeter closure will be lifted on Saturday, April 10.

Basic health zones: in Madrid capital, Núñez Morgado (Chamartín), Virgen de Begoña (Fuencarral-El Pardo), Valdebernardo and Vicálvaro-Artilleros (Vicálvaro), until April 12th; Chopera (Arganzuela), Alameda de Osuna (Barajas) and Rejas (San Blas-Canillejas), up to April 19th. In municipalities, Valle de la Oliva (Majadahonda), up to April 12th; Las Margaritas (Getafe) and San Fernando (San Fernando de Henares), until the April 19th.

Foral Community of Navarra

Valencian Community

Perimeter closure of the entire community until April 25th.

Estremadura

The perimeter closure will be lifted on Saturday, April 10.

Galicia

Perimeter closure of the entire community.

Galicia applies a new tiered plan that determines the perimeter closures of the councils. The Extreme level, is applied in municipalities with more than 500 cases and implies the perimeter closure of these localities. The levels Alto (between 500 and 250 cases), Half (between 250 and 150 cases) and Medium – Low (less than 150 cases), allow mobility to any municipality, except those that are in Extreme Level.

The perimeter closure will be lifted on Monday, April 12.

A negative test is required to enter the islands. Residents can get it free at origin.

Canary Islands

The perimeter closure will be lifted on Saturday, April 10.

A negative test (antigens, PCR) is required to travel to the islands either by air or sea.

The Rioja

Melilla

Perimeter closure of the entire autonomous city until April 26.

Basque Country

Perimeter closure of the entire community.

Provinces: Álava.

Municipalities: those with a cumulative incidence of more than 400 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which are:

  • Álava: Vitoria, Elciego, Iruña de Oka, Labastida and Legutio.

  • Biscay: Berriatua, Berriz, Ermua, Ondarroa and Zaldibar.

  • Guipúzcoa: Arrasate-Mondragon, Beasain, Idiazabal, Lazkao, Legazpi, Lezo, Oiartzun, Oñati, Ordizia, Ormaiztegi, Segura, Tolosa, Urretxu, Zaldibia, Zegama and Zumarraga.

Principality of Asturias

Perimeter closure of the entire community until May 9.

Municipalities: Siero, until April 9; Langreo, until April 13; Mieres, from April 11 to 24.

The regional government will delay the curfew between 23:00 and 6:00 as of Saturday, April 10.

Murcia region

Perimeter closure of the entire community.

Municipalities: Torre Pacheco and Puerto Lumbreras.

As collected in Royal Decree 956/2020 of November 3, are the autonomous governments who fix the night curfews from the extension of the alarm state. Thus, since November 9, the communities have the power to keep it, eliminate it or change its schedule.

The autonomies can implement the curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., although they can advance or delay it with an hour of margin, that is, between 22:00 and 00:00 or between 5:00 and 7:00 am.
