Jakarta – Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto forming the Ministry of Defense’s Special Guard Detachment (Denwalsus Kemenhan). This Denwalsus is a special force to escort the Minister of Defense to the VVIP guest of the Ministry of Defense.
This was revealed by the Minister of Defense’s aide Prabowo, Rizky Irmansyah in his personal Instagram account @rizky_irmansyah, Friday (9/4/2021). Rizkyposting a video of soldiers in marches marching, in the description postingRizky said that the soldier was a Defense Ministry Denwalsus.
“They are the Ministry of Defense’s Special Guard Detachment (Denwalsus) which was formed by the Minister of Defense, Pak Prabowo Subianto. They are trained, forged, educated at Batu Jajar Kopassus Training Center in West Java, “said Rizky.
The duties of Denwalsus are to guard and maintain the security of the Ministry of Defense, the Minister of Defense, special guests of the Ministry of Defense and the welcoming ceremony of the honorary ranks of state guests.
“These troops are selected and directly elected by the Minister of Defense, each personnel is equipped with VVIP guard and escort capabilities, domestic and foreign guest reception patterns and of course other capabilities that I cannot describe,” he said.

This Denwalsus is tasked with escorting and maintaining the security of the Ministry of Defense, the Minister of Defense, special guests of the Ministry of Defense and also the welcoming ceremony for the dignity of state guests.
These troops are selected and elected directly by the Minister of Defense, each personnel is equipped with VVIP guard and escort capabilities, patterns of welcoming domestic and foreign guests and of course other capabilities that I cannot describe.
