Remembering Iveta Bartošová: The Story of Her Life and Tragic Death

Although on Saturday it will be 9 years since the singer’s tragic death, fans and her loved ones will never forget her.

Thresher from Říčany

“If I were to evaluate my cohabitation with Ivetka in hindsight today, I think I should have communicated with the media in a different way,” he acknowledged Reeve. “I threw all the media into one bag and sometimes I also behaved aggressively,” explained the man, who at one time earned the nickname Mlátička z Říčany. But Rychtář excuses this to this day by saying that everything was only for the defense of Iveta. It is said that the public began to perceive him as an aggressor mainly after several fights with the self-proclaimed protector of Iveta and abused women Zdenek Macura (48). “At the time, I evaluated it as stalking. Today I think he was just crazy. In addition, a woman who lived with him for about half a year contacted me and told me that a psychiatrist had confirmed to them that Mr. Macura was indeed a sick person.” Rychtář said in an interview for Rytmus života.

Štaidl, motherhood, Gott and career peak. The continuation of the miniseries Iveta is introduced in the first trailer

Abduction to Italy

Although many of Iveta’s fans are convinced that Josef abused Iveta herself, the widower completely denies this accusation. Allegedly, he was only bothered by her alcohol addiction, with which he tried to help her. But it was not as easy as it might seem. “At that time in Italy, the doctor told me that in order to bring her to the Czech Republic, she simply had to have a certain level of alcohol in her body, otherwise she would have a so-called withdrawal attack, which could even lead to death,” Rychtář recalls of Macura’s “abduction” of Iveta. “So on the way home I would buy white wine and mix it with her water. I gave her such a spray so that she had a minimum of alcohol there, but at the same time it did not endanger her life,” explained the widower.

She died sober!

But Rychtář’s strategy reportedly paid off and Bartošová at the end of her life she almost stopped drinking alcohol. Even the decision to end her life by jumping under a train is said to have been made sober. “During the autopsy, no consumption of alcohol or any drugs was detected. On the one hand, it gave me great satisfaction,” admitted Rychtář, who still hasn’t come to terms with Iveta’s death to this day. In addition, his wife committed suicide on his 56th birthday.

I don’t see Arthur

Although the Magistrate insisted on maintaining relations with his stepson, Artur Staidl (26) had a different opinion about it. “Artur showed no interest in the meeting. Of course, I tried to contact him after his death, but he changed his phone number. We simply haven’t seen each other since Ivetka’s death.” the Judge admitted, still hoping Arthur was doing well.

He will play it Duster!

Viewers will soon be waiting for the television continuation of the miniseries Iveta, which charts the life of Iveta Bartošová, and Josef Rychtář will also have his place in it. “Mr. David Prachař will play me, so we’ll see how it turns out,” Rychtář let himself be heard.
