Quarantine may be delayed – ex-head of the Ministry of Health

Police Verify COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates

The main task now is to vaccinate at least 75% of the population of Ukraine, otherwise we will have several years of quarantine.

With the introduction of “red” zones in the regions of Ukraine, vaccination in these regions accelerated. However, if the rate of immunization is slowed down, the quarantine will drag on for another three to four years. This was stated by the ex-Minister of Health Zoryana Skaletskaya on the air Ukraine 24.

In her opinion, the main task now is to vaccinate at least 75% of the population.

If Ukrainians refuse to vaccinate against coronavirus, then in the next few years, lockdowns will be periodically introduced in the country.

“… And then everyone should understand that with masks, quarantine restrictions, lockdowns, online training, we will stay for the next three or four years, or maybe five,” said the former head of the Ministry of Health.

The NPU explained why they check COVID certificates

We add that the trade union of workers in education and science has addressed the Cabinet of Ministers with a request not remove unvaccinated teachers from work, and give them another month to vaccinate.
