Public transport: The holiday schedule is now almost nationwide | NDR.de – news

In most parts of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the holiday timetable for local public transport now applies.

In Northwest Mecklenburg and Ludwigslust-Parchim, the Vacation schedule. On December 24th and 31st, the buses run as on Saturdays, on Christmas Day and Christmas Day and on New Year’s Day they run according to the Sunday and public holiday schedule. In Schwerin, the public transport runs like on Saturdays with a few additional trips. All trips at night are omitted. There is no bus or train service between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. until January 10th. The Nahbus transport company has pointed out that public transport is not a substitute meeting point for young people in Corona times. The company asks you to behave considerately and not to ride the buses in larger groups.

RSAG customer center at Doberaner Platz remains open

In Rostock, too, trams and buses run until January 1st after Vacation schedule. On December 24th the Saturday timetable applies until 3:00 p.m. and the Sunday and public holiday timetable after 3:00 p.m. On December 25th, 26th and 31st the Saturday timetable is valid until 8:00 p.m., from then on the lines run according to the regular evening traffic. The bus route 36 runs between 8:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. every 15 minutes between Mecklenburger Allee and Warnemünde Strand. The night bus lines F1 and F2 are in use from 02:30 a.m. every 30 minutes. The RSAG customer center on Doberaner Platz is still open Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., all other locations are closed until January 10th due to the lockdown.

City traffic Greifswald runs according to the Saturday timetable

Buses in Greifswald city traffic are now running according to the valid Saturday timetable. This is initially valid up to and including January 10, 2021. Tickets for city bus transport can in any case be purchased on the buses via the drivers.

In the districts of Mecklenburg Lake District, Western Pomerania-Rügen and Western Pomerania-Greifswald, the holiday schedule is initially valid until January 4th.
