Professional FIFA player may no longer play EA games after threats NOW

Professional FIFA player and YouTuber Kurt Fenech (also known as Kurt0411) may no longer play games from game publisher EA. He is also no longer allowed to use the publisher’s services, EA makes on Twitter on Tuesday known.

The suspension comes after a month long dispute between Fenech and EA. In November the man was no longer allowed to play FIFA 20. Now he can no longer use any EA game and service.

According to EA, he has been suspended because of “serious and repeated offenses”. Initially, Fenech was punished for having threatened employees and other players.

After the first ban, several Twitter accounts of EA employees were hacked. Messages were sent through those accounts in which Fenech was supported. FIFA employees also reported personal attacks.

EA writes that Fenech did this himself, but also called on others to attack EA employees. “He has crossed a border with this,” writes the publisher. “We don’t tolerate this kind of behavior.”

Fenech dismisses the matter as “nonsense.” “I never did anything I shouldn’t have done” writes he. “They just do not want me to participate in events because they are afraid that I will win.”
