Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have moved to a new home in Santa Barbara, a wealthy seaside town near Los Angeles, California, according to US media.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who officially ceased to be active members of the Royal Family last April, had until then lived in Los Angeles, Meghan Markle’s hometown, where they were quickly harassed by paparazzi on the lookout.
The couple filed a complaint, accusing some of them of unwittingly photographing their young son Archie in their garden.
The couple “moved into their family home in July” and “settled in the quiet privacy of their neighborhood,” a spokesperson told AFP, without confirming the location of their new residence. They “hope that this will be respected, for their neighbors as well as for them as a family,” added the spokesperson.
According to the media People and Page six, their new home is located in Santa Barbara, about 150 kilometers north of Los Angeles, home to several American stars, such as Oprah Winfrey.
Prince Harry, 35, has repeatedly denounced media pressure on his couple and made it the main reason for his withdrawal from the royal family.
