A double presentation will be held in Hiendelaencina next Saturday, October 15, starting at 5.30 pm. On the one hand, “Forests, Mountains and People” will be released, an illustrated collection of poems with haiku and tanka by Fernando Barbero. His speech will be accompanied by a large format exhibition of the projects contained in the compendium.
And, on the other hand, “Paréntesis” will also be released, “an oasis of literary freedom from imprisonment”. It is in fact constituted as an illustrated work, created by the students – men and women – of the creative writing laboratory of the Alcalá-Meco prison, in Madrid. “The lyrics are a cry from the creators, who try to express themselves through reading and writing. All the works are handwritten and, at the same time, accompanied by high quality drawings “. Both presentations – “Bosques, Montañas y Gente” and “Paréntesis” – will be enlivened by a recitation of verses and a musical performance.
The appointment will take place at the “País de la Plata” interpretation center, in the heart of Hiendelaencina.
