“It is strongly said that I know Semerdzhiev. I used to visit his car wash to wash my car.” This was stated by police officer Simona Radeva, who appeared today for questioning in the Semerdzhiev case for the serious accident that took place on Cherni Vrah Blvd., in which two young women aged 22 and 26 died.
There is information that Radeva helped Georgi Semerdzhiev escape from the scene of the accident. After the accident she he wrote on his Facebook profile:”My conscience is clear.” She was subsequently suspended from office.
Radeva appeared today wearing a hat and mask, and she also put the hood on her jacket as she came out. You refused to answer journalistic questions.
From the testimony before the court it became clear that he had known Semerdzhiev for about a year. She used to visit her car wash to wash her car. She was also there on the day of the accident.
He said the following about that day: “I had coffee with a girl there. I’ve seen her twice, can’t remember her name. Then I went to pay my father’s carpentry for the apartment and went to get the handyman. (…) Passing by the car wash, I had seen the car wash. I called the washing machine – Zoro. He didn’t tell me anything, I asked if he could check if my keys were left there. He didn’t introduce himself to me, but I recognized it was Joro’s voice from across the street.”
He saw that there was an accident on Cherni Vrah Blvd. and a lot of police at the place. Passed under police tape.
“I just asked the other officers and they said they couldn’t provide any information at the moment. I just noticed it was fat. I saw a crashed taxi car. (…) Being at the accident, I called Zoro. He hung up and said he’d call me back, he’d check. On the way from the car accident to the car wash, Zoro called me, he didn’t introduce himself to me, but his voice sounded like Georgi’s. I asked if he’d found the keys, and realizing I was almost at the car wash, he asked me to get a ladder to the upper intersection at Forest Traveler.
In an apartment on “Gorski patnik” street in “Lozenets” district. It was discovered a day after the accident, Georgi Semerdzhiev, fled from the scene of the accident. It turned out that he had entered through the window after climbing the ladder.
Simona stated that she had no idea what Semerdzhiev had done with the ladder. A car wash employee claims she held her while the defendant was driving up to her house. It became clear in the courtroom that Simona’s phone contained a photo of the license plate of the jeep Semerdzhiev was driving.
The policewoman also admitted that she had traveled several times in her car. One of Semerdzhiev’s car wash workers testifies to the acquaintance between the two.
“I know Simona Radeva from automation. She was like a manager. He sat and watched us wash the cars,” he said Zoro Spasov.
The taxi driver whom Semerdzhiev shot before hitting the girls came to the court to tell what had happened. In the words of Ivan Ovcharov it turned green after looking around. Ovcharov does not remember the first seconds after the impact. He himself was not seriously injured.
A total of 6 people were questioned in the courtroom today. To hear the testimony, they came the mothers of both victims – Harriet and Christine. They declined to comment on the hearing.
