Yesterday at around 3.40 pm in Priekuli district, during daily traffic monitoring, a violation of the permitted driving speed was recorded on the Cēsis-Vecpiebalga-Madona highway – a man born in 2000 was driving a BMW car with a speed of 188 km / h instead of the maximum driving speed. the speed is 90 km / h.

The driver is facing a fine of 360 to 480 euros and a ban on using the right to drive for six months, Vaskāne informed.

In addition, police have observed that drivers do not take into account the dark hours of the day, are careless on the roads, perform unauthorized and even aggressive maneuvers.
