45481 MH-Selbeck: On Thursday afternoon (February 10), a walker found a lifeless person in a wooded area. The autopsy showed that there was no evidence of outside influence. A capital offense can be ruled out.

Around 1 p.m., a woman was walking with her dog on the edge of a forest area, on the sidewalk on the Weidmannsheil road. The free-roaming dog ran into the forest to a creek. When searching for the dog, the witness came across a lifeless person and alerted the rescue workers.

In the area of ​​​​the stream, about 40 meters from the roadside, the emergency services were able to find the lifeless body. An ambulance declared death. According to initial findings, the deceased person had been at the location for a long time. Criminal police investigators secured extensive evidence at the scene of the crime, and a death investigation was initiated.

The autopsy carried out today revealed no evidence of external influences, so that a capital offense can be ruled out.
