The Investigative Police (PDI) arrested this Sunday a woman accused of the crime of homicide against an older adult and of having seriously injured a man, events that occurred in the commune of La Pintana.
According to preliminary information, the 23-year-old detainee was sharing alcohol and consuming drugs with the 49-year-old in a house, when for investigative reasons they both started an argument with knives.
At that time the mother of the affected man, 79, tried to intervene to stop the fight and was repeatedly injured by the woman.
“It was developed inside a building in which the owner of the house was sharing with the accused of the fact, forming a fight with sharp weapons between them, situation that after being seen by the mother of the house owner, she wanted to intercede, resulting in both her and her son being seriously injured, “explained the PDI deputy inspector. Bernardo Araya.
Relatives of those affected transferred the wounded to the El Pino Hospital, place where the older adult lost his life due to the severity of his injuries, while his son remains in serious condition.
The investigation of the case was left to the PDI Homicide Brigade.
