The crews of the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure carry out tasks on the margins of the Comechingones Highway and Route No. 10, and on the Terrazas del Portezuelo property.
The Landscaping Plan includes the planting of tree and shrub species, and the development of a fertilization and maintenance system with permanent irrigation in the green spaces of public buildings and on the margins of provincial roads and highways.
“Currently, maintenance and replacement of different species are being carried out on the margins of the routes, highways and throughout the Terrazas del Portezuelo property. Herbaceous plants are being replaced, such as lavenders and other species, and the daily tasks of maintenance, grass cutting, weeding and watering of all the plantations continue, ”said Juan Ignacio Villegas, head of the Route Afforestation and Landscaping Program. .
In addition, the official indicated that “the task of replacing and planting bare-root poplar trees is being carried out on the margins of Provincial Route No. 10 and on the Comechingones Highway and in the area near the Valle del Conlara International Airport. These months are ideal for planting these species with bare roots because they are the ones that best adapt to the climate. The tasks include hoeing, double fertilization and irrigation ”.
