Outdoor restaurant vandalized on Upper East Side

Two people were injured after their car crashed into an Upper East Side outdoor dining area Monday night.

In the images you can see the remains outside The Sefton restaurant, located on First Avenue between 73rd and 74th streets.

Police said there were two people in the car, a 29-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, who was driving.

The passenger claims that the driver suffered a medical event while behind the wheel.

No one outside the car was injured, but the woman was cited for driving without a license.
