WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – Ex US President Barack Obama on Wednesday (19/8/2020), attacking the US incumbent presidential candidate, Donald Trump, by saying it is very unworthy to hold office US president 2020.

For Obama and Biden, the election is an opportunity to help secure the legacy of their administration, including the restoration of the dozens of policies on immigration, climate change and health care that Trump is systematically seeking to dismantle.
The Biden campaign positioned Obama as a popular figure, who was a major supporter during his campaign months that took place without face-to-face events, such as demonstrations, due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Obama’s strong message regarding the country’s democracy also seems to be implied from the location he chose to attend the virtual convention, namely the American Revolution Museum in Philadelphia, the city where the US Constitution and the founding principles of democracy were created.

According to him, Trump has failed the test of democracy.
The emotional Obama urged Americans to vote and warned that Trump and his Republican allies could only win by suppressing and tampering with votes, not benefiting from their policies.
“Do not let them usurp your power,” Obama said.
“Don’t let them take your democracy. Make plans right now on how you will be involved and vote, “he explained.
