NEW YORK – A woman was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and back in Queens.
The discovery occurred Friday morning in the residential neighborhood of Sourth Jamaica.
Police responded to a call about a woman shot. When they responded to the town, they found the 39-year-old victim on the street, according to the NYPD. The victim was transferred to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The authorities have yet to reveal his identity.
Images of the Telemundo helicopter scene showed police activity in the Foch Boulevard area.
The investigation is ongoing.
