RIYADH – To date, there are seven kings who rule Saudi Arabia. The predecessors of King Salman, who is now in power, died at different ages.

1. King Abdullah

Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is the 6th king of Saudi Arabia. It replaces King Fahd who died in 2005.

In that year Abdullah ascended the throne to become the number one person in Saudi Arabia. The man who was born in Riyadh in 1924 is known as a reformist figure in Saudi Arabia who is able to provide positive changes in his kingdom in the fields of education, economy, and health.

On January 23, 2015, Abdullah reportedly died. At that time, Abdullah was 90 years old and had led Saudi Arabia for 10 years.

2. King Fahd

After 23 years of leading Saudi Arabia, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud breathed his last at King Faisal Hospital, Riyadh.
