No need to make an appointment to get the coronavirus vaccine in Houston | Univision 45 Houston KXLN

HOUSTON, Texas. – The Houston Department of Health announced that they will be receiving residents who want to be vaccinated against the coronavirus without the need to have an appointment as has been done until now.

Although people can continue to schedule their appointment, those who do not have one will be welcome at the vaccination center. “Vaccination against covid-19 should be easy and convenient for everyone, including people who may not be able to get to a vaccination site during normal business hours,” said Mayor Sylvester Turner.

This measure begins to be applied from this Monday, April 26 in all the vaccination centers of the Houston Department of Health. In addition, in some places the opening hours will be extended so that more people have the opportunity to be vaccinated.
