Nintendo will no longer repair old Wii game computers | NOW

Nintendo will stop repairing old Wii game computers on 31 March. That made the company Monday known.

“It is difficult to get the required parts,” Nintendo writes. Copies of the Wii that are on the mat at the company after 31 March will therefore no longer be repaired.

The Nintendo Wii was launched in December 2006. The game console became particularly popular due to the innovative controller with motion sensors. More than one hundred million units of Wii have been sold worldwide.
