Suhendra (32), known as ‘Father of a million children‘in Kuripan Village, Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency, he pleaded not guilty after being named a suspect in the child trafficking case. Bogor police investigators reported.
“Yes (he feels innocent) because SH feels he is helping people,” Bogor Resort Police Public Relations Chief Iptu Desi Triana said on Sunday (10/02/2022) when asked for confirmation.
Desi said Suhendra offered to adopt a child from adoptive parents for 15 million rupees. The money is said to be for the cost of childbirth.

“Yes (for the cost of childbirth). One child who has been successfully adopted in the Lampung area and the fourth is in the Social Service,” Desi said.
Of note, the discovery of this case began after police received a report from the Ciseeng Health Center regarding five children born simultaneously in the name of Suhendra’s or SH’s father. The head of the Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Siswo DC Tarigan, said the baby’s mother came from various regions of Indonesia.
“So initially there was a report from the Ciseeng Health Center, there were five babies born in the same time frame. All the babies born with the father’s name on SH’s behalf. But from different mothers, and these mothers came from various regions in Indonesia, not the Bogor people, “Siswo Tarigan said through his statement on Saturday (1/10).
The village chief of Kahuripan then received a report from a local religious leader that Suhendra had hosted pregnant women. The sub-district was then called Suhendra.
“Then the sub-district called the suspect and asked for a consultation with the social service,” he said.
The Bogor Regency Social Service (Dinsos) invited one of the foundations to discuss handling the case. The foundation is known for working in the humanitarian field.
Then Dinsos, foundations and local officials came to Suhendra’s home to conduct an evaluation. From the results of the evaluation, it emerged that there were allegations of trafficking in persons by way of adoption.
As it was feared that something might happen to the victims housed, six victims, including a newborn, were evacuated on the same day. They were taken to the foundation’s shelter.
Then one of the companions of the foundation’s victims reported the accident. Suhendra was charged with suspicion of human trafficking.
Police also arrested Suhendra (32) or “the father of a million children” in the village of Kuripan, Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency. Suhendra was arrested on suspicion of being involved in a criminal act of trafficking in persons in the manner of adopting a child for Rp 15 million.
