Razer has unveiled a new batch of Blade 15 laptops, this time with a first on the display front: a QHD OLED panel with 240 hertz refresh rate.

The ‘New’ Razer Blade 15 can also be equipped with an FHD resolution up to 360 hertz (100% sRGB) or a 4k resolution at 144 hertz (100% DCI-P3); piece by piece. Compared to previous Blade 15 models, the laptop also switches to newer hardware and the internal heatpipe design makes way for vapor chamber cooling.

On the GPU front, the Blade 15 scales up to chips up to and including Nvidia’s mobile RTX 3080 Ti. Previously, the line topped off at the RTX 3070. The central processors this time come from the twelfth Intel Core generation (Alder Lake), with the Core i9-12900H as the absolute top model — about the most powerful mobile 14-core cpu.

With the introduction of Alder Lake hardware, Razer is also moving to DDR5 memory: 16 or 32 GB, both at 4,800 MHz frequency. The new Blade 15 models also switch to 1 TB of SSD storage as standard, where 512 GB was previously the minimum.

Despite raising many specs, the Razer Blade 15 should shrink in size. The 15.6-inch notebook measures only 16.99 millimeters thin; previous models were two millimeters thicker. This eliminates the gigabit Ethernet port, for which a MicroSD card reader (UHS-II) is included in exchange.

Other new luxuries include the return of Razer Chroma lighting on the keyboard, this time with per-key RGB control on this scale. Select models also offer Windows Hello-capable webcams and power supply over the USB-C connections.

The new Razer Blade 15 entry-level model (Core i7-12800H, RTX 3060) has a suggested retail price of 2,799.99 euros. At the other end of the spectrum, at 4,399.99 euros, the top model rests with a Core i9, RTX 3080 Ti and 32 GB of DDR5 memory.
