Neighbors alarmed by shooting in public housing complex

Lourdes Quezada’s car was shot after the shooting in the backyard of the Eleanor Roosevelt public housing homes in Brooklyn.

“Last night there was a shooting and then my car when I go to the hospital this morning has two shots there and the glass is broken,” said Lourdes.

And it is that the police report that around 12:30 in the morning of Monday, between 100 and 150 people were gathered in an apparent party, when two people with firearms began to shoot.

At least 8 were injured without any serious report.

“When it arrives around 12:45 I was already sleeping and when the swinging started I said, ‘what happened?’ I got up to look and people were screaming,” added another neighbor.

Even two bullets hit apartments in this building without any injuries being reported in these homes.

The reasons that started the shooting are unknown but neighbors say this happens often in this area.
