NASA scientists are confused when the most terrible supermassive black hole suddenly disappears

TRIBUNTRAVEL.COM – Not long ago scientists NASA confused by an incident that still couldn’t be explained by theory.

The supermassive black hole known to be the most terrifying has suddenly disappeared.

Every galaxy that has ever been observed, enters the vicinity of a supermassive black hole.

Stars orbit them in the same way as planets orbit stars.

The Abell galaxy cluster 2261, which is located about 2.7 billion light years from Earth, is one of the largest objects of its kind.

Gazetted in Dailystar, astronomers are expected to see a giant black hole in its heart.

But despite searching with NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory and the Hubble Space Telescope, they were able to find signs of it.

The object at the center of Abell 226 must weigh at least 3 billion and as much as 100 billion times the mass of the Sun, but it doesn’t really exist.

The fact that there is a dense concentration of stars near the center of the cluster seems to rule out the possibility of a black hole in Abell 2261 that somehow suddenly disappeared.

A team led by Kayhan Gultekin of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor theorizes that Abell 2261 was formed by the collision of two smaller galaxies.

After the central black hole collides and combines the new supermassive black hole is somehow ejected into space.

Even this theory is still not proven in fact.

“It is not known whether supermassive black holes are even close enough to each other to generate gravitational waves and merge. So far astronomers have only verified merging black holes that are much smaller in size,” said the reporter. NASA in a statement.

The evidence scientists need can be provided by the James Webb Space Telescope, which is expected to launch in October.

The $ 8.8 billion James Webb telescope, Hubble’s spiritual successor, will use four ultra-powerful instruments to investigate the universe’s deepest secrets.

But these telescopes can still find previously undetected black holes lurking in the center of galaxy clusters.

If not found, NASA experts say, “Then the best explanation is that the black hole has retreated further from the galactic center.”
