Rice producers received financing in Guárico

In Guárico state, the government, in a strategic alliance with productive sectors and private companies, continues to provide support to rice producers in the Francisco de Miranda municipality, with the provision of financing for inputs such as fertilizers and urea for the preservation of crops and its high quality performance.

This was announced by the governor of the plains entity, José Vásquez, who from plot 190 of the Guárico River Irrigation System together with the regional economic team, delivered the respective financing to 15 producers of the point and circle who are in the stage of fertilization and fertilizer of more than 1,200 hectares of rice.

Vásquez highlighted that at the moment the state is surpassing the production yields already established, thanks to the commitment that small, medium and large producers have assumed, reaching 95% of the cultivated area of ​​the Irrigation System.

Therefore, the opportunity was propitious to visualize the progress maintained by the crops, which will soon be inspected due to the deployment of the fertilizer process.

“All my recognition and support to you who have defended production until we became the main rice producer in the country,” argued the regional president, who pointed out the need to advance in a new prospective vision.

In this area, he noted that the formation of a Productive Consortium is expected to bring together each producer and association to proceed with the request for multimodal financing in different regional, national and even international instances.

For her part, the executive secretary of productive economy of the state, Nayibeth Bermúdez, indicated that the economic team remains in deployment serving producers to guarantee the requirements in each area corresponding to the North Summer 2021-2022 production cycle.
