The candidate for MP in the last elections Hristo Katsarov committed suicide after he killed his girlfriend a few days ago abroad.

The man and his boyfriend, who worked at Europol, were on holiday in the Netherlands. There they quarreled and Katsarov killed her. After that he returned to Bulgaria, and when the police officers tried to detain him, he committed suicide. He used a legally owned pistol for this purpose.

Katsarov, 32, was a candidate for GERB in the November 14th elections. He was in the last 28th place.
