It’s Memorial Day 2020 and as you think about your grocery needs, you may be wondering what the Target hours are near you today. Whether you want to visit in person or have your purchases delivered to you, Target can be a good solution. Target still has many changes in place due to outbreak coronavirus, but stores are open today. Here is the latest information.
Please note that individual store hours and policies may vary due to the pandemic of coronavirus. Some stores may be open longer in certain locations or have other policies in place for security reasons. It is best to check with your local store for specific policies.
Target store is open for Memorial Day
Although Target closed on many holidays, the store is open for Memorial Day today, just as it was open for Mother’s Day earlier this month. According to Target’s website, all stores continue to close at 9 p.m.
Target’s opening hours may vary by location and region. To view your local store hours, visit the Store Finder here at>. In Austin, Texas, for example, many stores are open at 8 a.m. In New York City and Los Angeles, many stores are open at either 8 a.m. or at 7 a.m., so it’s best to check opening hours just to be safe.
Target has a series of Memorial Day sales on their website here if you want to buy. They include up to 25% discount on furniture, up to 50% discount on selected bedding, up to 20% discount on mattresses, up to 50% discount on beach towels, up to 25% discount on items patio and kitchen deals, floor care deals and storage deals. Many of these Memorial Day sales are only valid until Monday.

Coronavirus security measures
On April 2, Target announced a series of security measures it is taking for COVID-19. They are providing face masks and non-surgical gloves for team members and are monitoring the number of people in their stores to maintain social distance. His other special measures include monitoring and measuring customer access, quantity limits on high-demand items, plexiglass barriers when paying, and constant reminders to maintain social distance. When paying at the ATM, a worker cleans it after each guest transaction and is thoroughly cleaned on a rotating basis.
The store also has dedicated hours for vulnerable customers. The first hour that stores are open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is reserved for customers over 65, pregnant women, and vulnerable or at-risk individuals according to CDC guidelines. CVS pharmacies in stores will also be open during those hours to help vulnerable customers obtain prescriptions. Product limits will still apply.
Additionally, food sampling is no longer available in stores, and Starbucks cafes and testers are closed for now. (But customers can use the testers to breastfeed if they request it.) Target has also stopped offering reusable bags as a precaution. Local baggage fees do not apply.
