A member of the Synod of the Estonian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, Sergei Männik, said that several nuns and the monastery’s confessor, Archpriest Dmitry, died of coronavirus at the Pyukhtitsa Holy Dormition Convent.
According to Männik, now the situation is beginning to improve, the rest of the sisters are recovering and there is no such danger and threat.
The monastery was quarantined in December. Almost all the nuns of the monastery were sick with corognavirus,
