The Vice President of the Republic, Margarita Cedeño, highlighted the qualities of the presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Gonzalo Castillo, while ensuring that she is getting into sympathy for the upcoming presidential elections.
“Gonzalo, what you have seen is a constant curve of ascent, where Gonzalo’s candidacy, because every time he is getting stuck, he shows that he is a humble, hardworking man, a great manager,” Cedeño argued.
Regarding its integration into the municipal campaign, he indicated that he will continue supporting activities to promote the candidates that the PLD postulates on weekends, since that is when he has time outside his vice-presidential functions.

When asked about international agency measurements that position the country as one of the most corrupt in the region, the executive said that these analyzes are done by calculating certain variables and formulas, so you have to observe them.
“What you can see is that we have not really had those major corruption scandals, except for a couple that are under investigation that should continue to be investigated as is the interest of us as a Government,” he added.
