NEW YORK — Police are urgently searching for a man they say has approached and groped women in Manhattan over the past week before fleeing.
The man is described as an adult, about 180 pounds, 6 feet tall, with a large build, who has brown eyes, is bald and has a gray beard.
New York City Police said the six attacks were on the following dates and locations:
- July 20 at 2:30 pm on the corner of 8th Street con Fifth Avenue
- July 20 at 3:00 pm on the corner of Greenwich Avenue y Avenue of the Americas
- July 21 at 12:50 pm in the 200 block of East 12th Street
- July 21 at 12:55 pm on the 200 block of East 12th Street
- July 21 at 1:00 pm on the corner of East 12th Street y Third Avenue
- July 21 at 1:50 pm on the corner of 28th Street y Seventh Avenue
None of the victims were reported to have suffered serious physical injuries from the groping.
Police say the suspect was last seen on surveillance cameras leaving the subway shortly after 7:00 pm Wednesday at 28th Street and Seventh Avenue.
