Striker Manchester United Mason Greenwood again detained by the police. He allegedly violated the terms of parole.
Greenwood was first arrested by police in January on suspicion of raping and assaulting a woman. Later he was also interrogated for death threats.
The 21-year-old spent three nights in detention before being released on bail. The investigation process by the police is ongoing, while the status of the team Manchester United postponed.

Greater Manchester County Police then arrested him again on Saturday (15/10/2022). Greenwood is suspected of violating probation rules and is currently being investigated by the police.
“Greater Manchester police are aware of allegations that a 21-year-old man violated his probation rules and an arrest was made on Saturday 15 October 2022,” a police spokesman said in a statement. Sky Sport.
“Investigations are currently underway”.
BBC reports that Greenwood’s arrest took place at his home in Bowdon, Greater Manchester. His legal status is currently still suspect and investigations are still ongoing.
Greenwood has not played for Manchester United since against West Ham United on 22 January 2022. Manchester United it has however prevented him from playing or even training since his case surfaced, while Nike terminated his contract and Electronic Arts removed him from FIFA 22.
