Monday morning, a 65-year-old man from Graz in Austria got an unpleasant surprise when a snake bit his genitals while he was using the toilet, writes Euronews and Newsweek.
Around 06.00, the man felt that something was wrong with his genitals, according to a press release from the local Austrian police.
When the man was to check the toilet bowl, he was greeted by an albino python that was 1.6 meters long. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for what was described as minor injuries.
The snake belonged to his 24-year-old neighbor, a reptile enthusiast who also had ten other snakes and a gecko. The police stated that they still did not know how the hose had escaped, but that it possibly got into the toilet via the drainage system.
Police urged reptile expert Werner Stangl to remove the snake after the incident.
