Netflix should not delay to reveal the date of broadcast of the first episodes of season 5 of Lucifer. To pass the time, the Lucifans indulge in their favorite activity: emit theories on the continuation of the adventures. While some fans are convinced that Lilith will reign in Hell in season 5 of Lucifer, others imagine that Trixie will be one of the first to go there. For the user of Reddit LorienTheFirstOne, Lucifer will return to Earth thanks to Chloe’s daughter : “Trixie dies in S5 E1 and goes to hell. Lucifer feels bad and brings her out of Hell and that is why he returns to Earth”.
If Trixie finds herself in Hell far from her mother, it is certain that Lucifer would surely move heaven and earth to bring her back to life near Chloe. Nevertheless, it seems unlikely that this theory will be realized in the next episodes. As another fan said on Reddit, to go to Hell, you must either have committed horrible acts, or feel extremely guilty for something for which you are not necessarily responsible. “Trixie probably thinks it’s her fault that her parents separated, so it works”, retorts the fan behind the theory. While it’s not impossible, it would seem a bit far-fetched if Trixie was sent to Hell just for that reason. The plot of the Devil’s return to Earth will have enough time to be explored in season 5 of Lucifer because the episodes will be longer!
