Patrick Prevett’s death came just a short week after 19-year-old Thomas Livingston lost his life in the same place.

Probably had a bath

In the middle of the day on Sunday 19 February, the police and emergency services received a report that a man had fallen off the cliff. According to Australian News other visitors must have performed life-saving first aid on the teenager until health personnel arrived at the scene.

Life was still not to be saved. The 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Livingston had probably been swimming at the top of the waterfall before the tragic accident, despite the fact that warning signs have been put up in several places where visitors are encouraged to stay on the path.
