The Corona crisis team again informed on Tuesday about the development of the pandemic in Lower Saxony. NDR.de will broadcast the press conference live from 1 p.m.

After the presentation of the new Corona regulation last Friday, the focus should be on the current figures again this time. How do the new infections develop? Live: Corona crisis team comments on the corona situation

Because: Travel plans for Easter are still too early

Lower Saxony’s Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SPD) emphasized on Monday that it was still too early to assess possible trips during the Easter holidays. “We have to wait and see how the incidences in Germany and also the so-called R-value, i.e. the average number of people infected by an infected person, will develop,” he said. In addition, it is not yet possible to predict how quickly and how intensively the virus mutations will spread. “As much as I would like to give orientation to those interested in a trip and to the accommodation industry, definitive statements are unfortunately not yet possible,” said the Prime Minister. It is clear that the risk of a third wave must be kept as low as possible. The Easter holidays in Lower Saxony begin on March 29th.
