Lights Out at Diana Arbenina’s Concert in Novosibirsk

At the concert of the leader of the rock group “Night Snipers” Diana Arbenina in Novosibirsk, the lights were turned off. This is reported by MK.ru.

The concert took place on October 22, despite protests from local activists, and was dedicated to the group’s thirtieth anniversary.

The Lokomotiv Arena, designed for five thousand spectators, was literally packed. All tickets for the concert were sold.

Before the concert, Arbenina published a short video on her Telegram channel about how the band’s sound check went on stage in Novosibirsk.

However, at the end of the performance, when the fans were already escorting the singer from the stage, the lights in the hall suddenly went out completely. Arbenina wrote that this came as a complete surprise to the musicians.

“All this is our temperature of energy and love. Thanks guys! Cool concert,” the performer thanked.

In addition, according to data telegram channel of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland, at the concert Arbenina performed the song “A second ago” together with the wife of a serviceman Lydia Yastrub. After the performance, the singer met with movement activists in the dressing room; the wives of the participants in the special military operation presented the performer with a trench candle.

“Diana Arbenina, like many wives and mothers of Russia, shares the views of women who support their heroes in the territory of the SVO,” the message says.

Activists also note that, according to Arbenina, vague patriotic statements are not so important now, but the tricolor flying overhead and a conscious perception of the Motherland are more valuable – in actions, in deeds and in music.

As reported EADaily, an initiative group of Novosibirsk residents asked to ban the performer’s concert in the city. Activists pointed to Arbenina’s harsh comments about the special military operation, as well as her song “Don’t be silent.” “. The Union of Fathers, which includes members of the SVO, called the leader of the group “an enemy of Russia, and a dangerous one at that.”
At the same time, Arbenina’s concert was previously canceled in Yoshkar-Ola, which she called sabotage, promising to look into it. It is also already known about the cancellation of the concert in Saratov, scheduled for October 26. The regional Ministry of Sports, which announced the news to the audience, did not specify the reason for the cancellation of the concert.
